THIS LIST PROVIDES BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS AND DETAILS ON SOME OF THE MOD KNOB ASSIGNMENTS. CLICK THE PERFORMANCE NAMES FOR CUED UP DEMONSTRATIONS THAT WILL OPEN IN A NEW TAB.

1. Abtasten Und Halten
THIS PERFORMANCE HAS AN EXTREMELY WIDE STEREO IMAGE THANKS TO THE SAMPLE AND HOLD LFOS THAT ARE MODULATING THE FILTER CUTOFF. THE STEP SEQUENCE KNOBS LET YOU SELECT FROM 16 DIFFERENT SAMPLES FOR EACH LAYER. THE PERF STEP SEQUENCE KNOB CHANGES BOTH LAYERS' SAMPLES SIMULTANEOUSLY.

2. At the Ready
AT THE READY USES ALL 4 LAYERS AND IS SET UP WITH A SPLIT KEYBOARD LAYOUT. ON THE LEFT YOU GET A HEAVY UNISON SYNTH LAYERED WITH A SIMPLE 8 STEP WAVE SEQUENCE. ON THE RIGHT YOU GET A LAYERED POLYPHONIC SYNTH WITH LAYER C TRANSPOSED UP TO A PERFECT 5TH.

3. Bowed Synth
BOWED SYNTH IS A SINGLE LAYER SYNTH STRING SECTION WITH SOME GREAT VELOCITY DYNAMICS. EXPONENTIAL VELOCITY IS MODULATING THE AMP ENVELOPE ATTACK AND RELEASE TIMES AS WELL AS THE FILTER ENVELOPE AMOUNT. THE MOD KNOBS GIVE YOU EASY ACCESS TO THE ATTACK AND RELEASES TIMES AS WELL AS THE FILTER CUTOFF, RESONANCE, MOD FX MIX, REVERB MIX AND EQ.

4. Brass Plated Pad
THIS PERFORMANCE IS A THICK POLYPHONIC SYNTH BRASS SOUND. THIS PERFORMANCE WORKS GREAT FOR BIG CHORDS, LOW OCTAVE BASS AND LEADS. EXPONENTIAL VELOCITY IS MODULATING THE FILTER ENVELOPE AMOUNT. AFTERTOUCH IS PRODUCING A SMOOTH AND EASILY CONTROLLED FILTER CUTOFF BOOST AS WELL AS A VOLUME SWELL. THE MODWHEEL IS ON VIBRATO DUTIES.

5. Crossfaded Arps
ALL 4 LAYERS ARE USED IN THIS PERFORMANCE TO PRODUCE 2 DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT ARPEGGIOS. THE FIRST ONE USES THE ALT2 PATTERN AND THE SECOND ONE USES THE RANDOM PATTERN. THE SAMPLE PERFORMANCE KNOB GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO SMOOTHLY CROSSFADE BETWEEN THE ARPEGGIO PATTERNS VIA THE CURVE MOD PROCESSOR. THE SHAPE PERF MOD KNOB CONTROLS EACH LAYER'S DELAY MIX AMOUNT. THE GATE PERF KNOB CONTROLS EACH LAYER'S RELEASE TIME. THE SPEED PERF KNOB CHANGES THE ARPEGGIO'S RESOLUTION (CLOCK DIVISIONS). YOU ALSO HAVE 4 LAYER CONTROL OF THE FILTER CUTOFF AND RESONANCE VIA THE MASTER AND TIMING PERF KNOBS.

6. Ebullient Seas
THIS 2 LAYER PERFORMANCE IS A TURBULENT, HEAVILY MODULATED SWEEPING PAD. AS USUAL, THE MASTER PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE FILTER CUTOFF OF BOTH LAYERS AND THE TIMING PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE RESONANCE. THE PITCH PERF KNOB GIVES YOU EASY CONTROL OVER LAYER A'S MOD FX. THE SPEED PERF KNOB CONTROLS THE PAN LFO RATE.

7. Funky's Mellow
THIS SINGLE LAYER LEGATO SYNTH LEAD IS SMOOTH AS BUTTER AND EXTREMELY DYNAMIC. EXPONENTIAL VELOCITY IS CONTROLLING THE FILTER ENVELOPE AMOUNT. AFTERTOUCH IS OPENING THE FILTER VIA THE SMOOTH MOD PROCESSOR FOR AN EASILY CONTROLLED RESPONSE. THE MOD KNOBS OFFER CONTROL OVER THE MOD FX, DELAY FX, FILTER CUTOFF AND RESONANCE.

8. Let it Buck
LET IT BUCK IS SET UP AS SPLIT WITH A BASS SEQUENCE ON THE LEFT AND AN ARPEGGIO/PAD LAYER ON THE RIGHT. THE ARP/PAD LAYER HAS A VERY SHORT RELEASE TIME AT IT'S DEFAULT SETTINGS BUT HIS CAN BE INCREASED VIA THE GATE PERF KNOB. THE LAYER D PITCH MOD KNOB CONTROLS THE ARPEGGIO PORTAMENTO TIME WHILE THE SHAPE MOD KNOB ADDS SUSTAIN TO THE ARPEGGIO BY MODULATING THE SHAPE LANE OFFSET FOR EACH STEP. AS USUAL, FILTER CUTOFF AND RESONANCE ARE CONTROLLED VIA THE MASTER PERF KNOB AND THE TIMING PERF KNOB.

9. Malfunkion
THIS PERFORMANCE USES 3 LAYERS AND EACH OF THE 3 INCLUDED MULTISAMPLES TO PRODUCE A PAD/ARPEGGIO LAYER. AS USUAL, THE MASTER PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE FILTER CUTOFF FOR ALL 3 LAYERS AND THE TIMING PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE RESONANCE. THE LAYER C SAMPLE MOD KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE WAVESHAPER MIX AMOUNT WHILE THE GATE AND SHAPE MOD KNOBS ARE CONTROLLING THE ENVELOPE ATTACK, DECAY AND RELEASE TIMES.

10. Stereo Synth Brass
THIS 2 LAYER PERFORMANCE IS A WIDE SYNTH BRASS SOUND WITH SOME GREAT VELOCITY DYNAMICS. EXPONENTIAL VELOCITY IS MODULATING THE FILTER ENVELOPE AMOUNT. THE PITCH PERF MOD KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE MOD FX INTENSITY FOR BOTH LAYERS. THE STEP SEQ PERF MOD KNOB INCREASES THE DETUNING OF EACH LAYER. THE SPEED PERF KNOB CONTROLS THE REVERB MIX AMOUNT. THE MASTER PERF KNOB CONTROLS THE FILTER CUTOFF FOR BOTH LAYERS AND THE TIMING PERF KNOB CONTROLS THE RESONANCE FOR BOTH LAYERS.

11. Operation VCO
OPERATION VCO IS SET UP WITH A SPLIT LAYOUT. ON THE LEFT HAND YOU GET A THICK POLYPHONIC UNISON SYNTH AND ON THE RIGHT YOU HAVE A POLY SYNTH PAD LAYER. THE MASTER PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE FILTER CUTOFF FOR ALL 3 LAYERS AND THE TIMING PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE RESONANCE.

12. Plastiques
THIS PERFORMANCE IS A SYNTH PAD/ARPEGGIO LAYER. AFTERTOUCH IS OPENING THE FILTER ON THE 2 PAD LAYERS AS WELL AS ADDING SOME VIBRATO TO THE ARPEGGIO LAYER. tHE SAMPLE PERF KNOB CONTROLS THE LEVEL OF THE ARPEGGIO LAYER. THE PITCH PERF KNOB INCREASES THE DETUNING OF THE PAD LAYERS. THE SHAPE PERF KNOB INCREASES THE LAYER C DELAY MIX AMOUNT.

13. Simply Evolving
THIS PERFORMANCE IS A SIMPLE PAD THAT SLOWLY CROSSFADES BETWEEN TWO OF OUR MULTISAMPLES. TRY PLAYING CHORDS WITH STAGGERED TIMING OF THE NOTES FOR MULTIPLE CROSSFADES AT DIFFERENT TIMES. THE LAYER A MOD KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE CROSSFADE TIME AND OFFERS ANYTHING FROM EXTREMELY SLOW CROSSFADES TO A FAST TREMOLO LIKE SOUND.

14. Still Life
STILL LIFE IS ANOTHER PAD/ARPEGGIO LAYER. 3 LAYERS ARE USED, 2 FOR THE PAD AND 1 FOR THE ARPEGGIO. THE SAMPLE AND SHAPE PERF KNOBS CONTROL THE MIX BETWEEN THE PAD AND THE ARPEGGIO. THE SPEED PERF KNOB CONTROLS THE ARPEGGIO RESOLUTION (CLOCK DIVISION) THE GATE PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE ARP GATE TIME.

15. Time Lapse Synthesis
THIS PERFORMANCE IS ANOTHER SPLIT SET UP WITH A FUNKY SYNTH BASS ON THE LEFT HAND AND A SYNTH PAD WAVE SEQUENCE LAYER ON THE RIGHT HAND. THE MASTER PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE FILTER CUTOFF FOR THE PAD AND WAVE SEQ LAYERS AND THE TIMING PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE RESONANCE FOR ALL 3 LAYERS.

16. Wall of Synths
WALL OF SYNTHS USES ALL 4 LAYERS TO PRODUCE A HEAVILY LAYERED POLYPHONIC SYNTH WALL. LAYER C IS PRODUCING AN ARPEGGIO IN THE LOWER OCTAVES. THE MASTER PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE FILTER CUTOFF FOR ALL 4 LAYERS WHILE THE TIMING PERF KNOB IS CONTROLLING THE FILTER RESONANCE FOR LAYERS B, C AND D.
