Installing Contemporary VCOS - Wavestate Native

 

Using and managing 3rd party sample banks for Wavestate Native is now much easier since the 1.1.0 update. Please ensure that you are running the latest version of Wavestate Native. If you have previously created a user sample bank folder follow the instructions below. 

- Copying the Contemporary VCOS Sample Bank to the User Sample Bank folder:

1. If you have previously created a user sample bank folder simply copy the "Contemporary VCOS.korgcompiledbank" file (included with your purchase) to this folder and launch Wavestate Native.


- Importing the Contemporary VCOS Performances:

1. In the Wavestate Native interface, switch to the Librarian mode and then use the "Import" command found in the main menu. Navigate to the Comptemporary VCOS folder and select the "40 Wavestate Performances (Volume 1) by RAP.wsbundle" file.

 

 


If you haven't yet created a user sample bank folder follow the instructions below.

- Creating and Selecting the User Sample Bank Folder:

1. Create a new folder on your favorite SSD drive. (Korg Recommends an SSD Drive for this task) Name it anything you want...Ours is named "WSN Banks".


2. Place all of your 3rd party sample bank files in this new folder. These files have the file extension: korgcompiledbank


3. Launch Wavestate Native and click on the main menu button. (3 vertical dots in the upper right corner) In the drop down menu select "User Sample Banks..."

4. In the dialogue that opens, click the folder icon and browse to the new folder you created above. Click "Select Folder" to close this dialogue. Then click the "OK/Refresh" button in the Korg dialogue.

- Importing the Contemporary VCOS Performances:

1. In the Wavestate Native interface, switch to the Librarian mode and then use the "Import" command found in the main menu. Navigate to the Comptemporary VCOS folder and select the "40 Wavestate Performances (Volume 1) by RAP.wsbundle" file.
